Augustinian Volunteers

When the 21st class of Augustinian Volunteers began their year of service in August, their future was filled with unknowns. In fact, most volunteers committed to a year of service amid a global crisis, saying “yes” to the call to serve, despite uncertainty about what a year of service in a pandemic would hold.

In 2020-21 Augustinian Volunteers served on the frontlines as health care workers; in schools as teachers, aides, and campus ministers; and in social service organizations as case workers. Most importantly, at a time when we were all called to care for one another in new ways, Augustinian Volunteers living in intentional community were an example of the enduring value of a commitment to the common good.

Their service would not have been possible without you. Thank you for your support of the Augustinian Volunteers during this challenging and powerful year.
